Business in New Era

New Era is a small town with a big belief in high standards for how we do business. The business community of New Era has been serving the area for over a hundred years. Many of our local businesses such as the Meyers Chevrolet family, have been serving the New Era area for many generations!

Growth, Challenges, and the Best in Service

Over the past decades, New Era has been given more than a few challenges. When the new US 31 Freeway was built, it was routed to the west of New Era. New Era Chamber businesses doubled their efforts to become known for providing great service and products. These efforts have paid off as we are still attracting new customers as well as continuing to serve our loyal clients and friends. New Era has and will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of many Oceana and Northern Muskegon county residents. Now it is 2010 and we have decided to join the electronic world of communication. One of our reasons for developing the new Web site was to acquaint the rest of the world with New Era and what it has to offer.

Room to Grow

We have an empty building to fill downtown as well as a rental space in the New Era Mercantile building. In other words, we still have room to grow. New Era's new look of our downtown streetscape is just one more reason that our local business owners believe New Era is a great place to do their business. Several of our local businesspeople have recently spent large sums of money in the rebuilding or renovation of existing buildings to better serve their clients and customers. New Era is a very friendly, inviting and growing community.

The New Era Chamber would like to invite you to either stop by our town in person or visit us on the Web.
